GPU releases sometimes do not show up on the configuration page

Dear all,

Most of the time I can access to the GPU services at SWAN normally, but I noticed that sometimes the GPU options do not show up when I configure the environment. Does anyone know what was happening and how should I avoid it?

Dear Xiaohe,

The GPUs are only available in the SWAN instance that is based on Kubernetes, https://swan-k8s.cern.ch. If you connect to https://swan.cern.ch now, you might end up connecting to either the Kubernetes instance or the ones based on Puppet (e.g. swan004.cern.ch), where GPUs are not available.

We are transitioning to only use Kubernetes but, in the meantime, if you want to make sure you have the option to create a GPU session, please connect directly to https://swan-k8s.cern.ch.
