I was wondering if it is currently possible to submit HTCondor jobs from within SWAN. If so, how? If not, could this be feasibly achieved?

At the SWAN workshop, we had a presentation of an ALICE user that submits Grid jobs from SWAN:
For HTCondor jobs, I suppose it should be possible, the only two questions to answer are:
- Can you generate the necessary credentials from SWAN?
- Do you have all the software you need to do the submission?
If 1 and 2 are covered, you could just use the terminal to do the submission. If not, we would be happy to assist you in making it possible. How does the SWAN terminal compare to e.g. lxplus? Is there anything missing?
On the other hand, we had a GSoC project to integrate the submission of batch and Grid jobs with Ganga from a SWAN notebook. The GSoC student also extended the GUI to have job monitoring integrated in SWAN. This is still in experimental mode and not fully working, but I just mention it to see if you or someone else would be interested.
