Dear SWAN Users,
We are happy to announce the 1st SWAN & Jupyter Notebooks Users’ Workshop! It will take place on October 11th 2019 at CERN. This is the preliminary agenda:
During this workshop, we would like to learn about your use cases and share them across the community, in case they can be useful for others. Moreover, hearing about how you use SWAN will help us understand how the service should evolve to suit your needs.
The event is open to anyone who would like to join the discussions, including people that use Jupyter notebooks outside SWAN. Participation can be in person or remote. Registrations are now open:
Also importantly, we are looking for users who can contribute to the workshop with a short presentation about their use case. It is your opportunity to tell us about the obstacles you found and how you would improve the service! If you are interested, do not hesitate to contact us at swan-admins@cern.ch or submit an abstract to:
We would like to hear about use cases coming from any institution/department/group. In the case of users from the experiments, we are especially interested in learning if you are using the service to do analysis and possible difficulties when trying to use your experiment’s software framework from SWAN.
Looking forward to meeting you at the SWAN workshop!
Enric for the SWAN team
